Charles J. Bartolotta

Charles “Charlie” Bartolotta is a 28-year veteran of the cable television and broadband communications industry, serving in numerous leadership roles within its major companies, beginning upon completion of military service in 1983 until his professional retirement in 2011. He served as a corporate officer with his last employer, Mediacom Communications Corporation (at the time, the nation's eighth largest cable television company, headquartered in Middletown, New York), joining them in October of 2000. Bartolotta worked at AT&T Broadband and its predecessors TCI Communications and TKR Cable Company (a partnership between TCI and Knight-Ridder Publishing). He served as President, AT&T Broadband Atlantic Division. Prior roles included Regional Vice President for TCI’s New York-Metro and Mid-Atlantic regions, each serving over 800,000 customers, and Vice President and General Manager of TKR’s largest New Jersey cable television system with 165,000 customers.

Bartolotta began his cable career with Cablevision Systems Corporation (CSC). Over a six-year period, he held various line and staff positions. Initially, he performed several roles at the corporate headquarters in Woodbury, New York, specifically, Systems Analyst, Manager of Data and Voice Communications, and Assistant to the Chief-of-Staff. Bartolotta’s formal education consists of a Master of Science degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California in 1981 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy in 1978.
